Music? A party, your best friends, your favorite wines... but you do not know which musical atmosphere you should choose?

A festive music that comes from Africa : African Jazz Pioneers, fresh and happy melodies typical of the country, giving life to its history, a music that is internationaly recognized but which kept all its cultural specificities...

Your South African wines will have another and still pleasant taste if you drink them while listening to a local joyful music...

Now, you know who you are going to invite for dinner, you choose the music, but you have not decided what food you will serve to accompany your wines.

Instead of choosing complicated dishes, why not try a Braai, the traditional South-African barbecue, a national institution? Of course, it depends on what is being braaied, but whether meat or fish, choose a wine with character and muscle.

And if you hesitate on the meat, why not try ostrich, an original way of discovering another specificity of the country.

Another wine, another style another atmosphere : a dinner only with wines and cheeses... Cream cheese is better with full bodied whites : try semillon or chardonnay. For goat cheese, try full bodied white or dry red. With blue cheese : as long as it is not too powefull, can be excellent with rich desert whites.

And also, why not try more exotic culinary associations : Thai cuisine is pefect with South African wines, especially with white ones. Lemongrass, coconut milk soup with chicken and a good wooded chardonnay go surprisingly well together... maybe it can be a good way to imagine other wine producing regions, and how to share original wines with original dishes from all over the world...
